Completed in 2004 - the year James and I first started seeing each other. :) While I had actually written most of this tune during one of my performance tours (as our bus was making its way through Pittsburgh, PA), I hadn’t been able to decide on the appropriate solo instrument. I wanted something “jazzy” but mellow. I showed it to James, and he suggested flugelhorn, proving once again what an inspiration he is to me!
